Hooker's Grill

Nestled in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, Hooker’s Grill stands as a testament to culinary heritage and passion. This female, Native American owned establishment is the brainchild of Ruth and Kathryn Hooker, proud members of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Initially intending to introduce Texas to the renowned “Oklahoma fried onion burger,” the duo soon added another Oklahoma gem, the Indian Taco, to their menu. At Hooker’s Grill, the mission transcends mere dining — it’s about delivering impeccable burgers, unparalleled customer service, and a culinary history lesson with every bite. As advocates for introducing culture through cuisine, they take pride in their Choctaw heritage and celebrate the iconic dishes of their upbringing. For them, it’s more than just food; it’s about serving history one bite at a time.
